I’m writing letters to you

to only count the time I spent
biting my lips

when
I really
should be untangling the trap of dreams
instead

and then
spread my laughter between your fingers

your absences I fill

with lines deprived from commas, dots,

but still scared
not to bring the rain
at some street without a name.

I have almost forgotten

how to breathe after insomnia in the midst of July

I hardly manage to keep presence of mind
-- stuck in between -
the
- two moments
of “ifs” and “truth’s never abiding”

I’m writing a letter to you
to say...
and because
in this way
I’ve almost reached you

....

and if it is all love

then you will find me
